Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly Leverage social prospecting and multiple communication channels to find, meet with, and follow-up with potential customers and deal opportunities Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position our brand as the clear and obvious choice Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
Qualifications:
High school diploma required and some industry or product knowledge preferred Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills Prefer a minimum of 2
