Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Youth Sports Program Assistant to join our sports organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and coaching children aged 3 and up in baseball, basketball, soccer, and football.
As the Youth Sports Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering age-appropriate sports programs that promote skill development, physical fitness, and team building.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement by coaching high-quality youth sports programs that align with the organization's mission and values Meet and cultivate relationships with directors and principals at new schools Provide excellent customer service to parents, guardians, and participants Control program logistics, including registration, scheduling, and communication Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and program evaluation Complete required training and certifications Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures Organize and run different adult and youth sports leagues, tournaments, and events Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and donors Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the organization's programs and events
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sports management, education, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching or coaching children aged 3 and up in baseball, basketball, soccer, and football Passionate about working with children and promoting physical fitness and health Completed FDLE background check Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
